Community Development and Fundraising Manager - South of England

7 months fixed term contract, December–July 2020

Salary: £32,000 per year

Full time position (35 hours), home-based


The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis. Our mission is to create a world where being born with cystic fibrosis no longer carries a death sentence, when everyone living with the condition will be able to look forward to a long, healthy life.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust has a fundamental story to tell, a story of a devastating genetic condition and the fight to lift the death sentence people with cystic fibrosis are currently born under. It’s the story of a mission to create a new future where everyone with cystic fibrosis can live a life unlimited by their condition.

Community Development and Fundraising Manager will deliver high levels of stewardship to a variety of volunteers, supporters and community events as well as identify fundraising opportunities. The postholder will be responsible for significantly raising regional profile to grow core income and supporter/donor involvement.

We’re looking for someone with experience of community fundraising and volunteer management. You need to have experience with managing and developing others to work independently and as part of a team to reach allocated targets.

You will have a track record managing budgets to deliver income and expenditure against agreed targets as well as identifying additional income streams.
